The designers drew inspiration from the concept of yin and yang, using circular arcs to divide the entire space into two major areas and four components. This thoughtful spatial planning creates a balanced and visually appealing environment. In addition, a cloud-like structure made up of blocks and planes was inserted into the empty box of the original structure, further enhancing the spatial form.
One of the key strengths of the Fight Together design is its adaptability. The designers aimed to make the space widely adaptable and in line with the functional positioning of the department. By incorporating artistic and practical design techniques, they sought to find individuality within rationality and express spirit through stability. The use of deconstructive techniques and elemental geometric relations divides the space into large blocks, giving it a stronger sense of directionality.
Technological advancements play a significant role in the Fight Together office design. The designers recognized that most users rely on mobile phones for their daily tasks. To accommodate this, they arranged the working space in a compact manner, with streamlined workstations that facilitate communication and mutual assistance. This innovative concept has greatly improved the utilization rate and working efficiency of the space.
The design also incorporates modern technology-based features, such as a facial recognition access control system. This system enhances the technological experience that the enterprise emphasizes, while maintaining privacy and confidentiality through the use of dark glass access control. The meeting room features a glass wall that can switch between atomization and transparency, providing a versatile and customizable space for different needs.
The Fight Together office design faced its fair share of challenges. The scattered structural columns, which support the perfect shape of the architecture, posed a significant obstacle to the interior design. However, the designers skillfully evaded these columns or made them "disappear" in the view, seamlessly blending them into the overall design.
The Fight Together office design, with its unique blend of art, architecture, and technology, has been recognized for its excellence. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit outstanding creativity and resourcefulness, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology. The Fight Together design truly contributes to improving the quality of life and making the world a better place.
